Winter Update

MosaIc has been meeting on a regular schedule and it has been going so great! We share, support, learn (what's an ove glove?) and laugh quite often! We make little projects here and there, we had a Wonderful Christmas Brunch...and we are looking forward to so much with this special group in this new year. If you are able, please join us for our next meeting! Same bat time, same bat place....

Meet in the Woods

Our Journey at Oakdale. Let the Beautiful Path begin.

The latest MOSAiC meeting....we decided to go walk in the woods on a beautiful autumn day. It was so peaceful. Our time together was filled with smiles & laughter. Thank you ladies for a SUPER get together. Interesting NOte: out of 5 friends attending today: 3 had the same shoes on and the 2 remaining had matching shoes on as well! Out of all the shoes in the world.....just weird. hehe

Lovely Welcome Table.

Once again the amazing ladies of MOSAiC have met. This time we joined forces in a meeting room at the library. I knew it was going to be a great gathering when fellow member Tonya, just happened to get one extra coffee (iced) drink that morning and she shared it with lucky me! Sure beat my warm ginger ale. At this meeting, Member Teresa instituted the motto: "COME AS YOU ARE" (due to that she just came sweaty from a workout) which we all embraced (let me clarify that we did not embrace her, we embraced the motto). We decided for a simple craft to make: magnets with our meeting info on them. They turned out super and were so fun and easy to make. Discussion included: lunch/snack examples/ideas presented by Dawn and School Issues continued from last meeting. Discussion also lead to many other wonderful and magical places! hehe. The time went way too fast! Look for the Oct. 6th meeting info coming soon. See you next time girls!

First Meeting = Success!

Hello Ladies! It was a beautiful slightly crisp morning in which the first MOSAiC meeting took place. Welcomed by friendly smiles, warm table settings and hot chocolate, the women began to gather. Our first meeting was a brunch at the park and it was a perfect day to do so. Once everyone settled in with plates of baked goodies, we filled out a little fun paperwork and began discussing some group establishment thoughts and then our attention lead to: Back to School Transitions. Topics included everything from improving morning routine to packing healthy lunches and snacks to developing good homework/study habits. I know I learned a lot of tips and got much support during our short time together this morning! What a blessing our gathering was! I believe there are many wonderful moments and situations that will be created by this amazing group of women. Thank you to Dawn & Rebecca for making this idea into a reality! - Cheryl
